Getting started is simple and begins with a conversation.
Custom work at Memento always starts with a one-hour consultation, where we take the time to talk about you, the items you’d like to incorporate, and what you’re hoping the finished piece will hold. This conversation is an important part of the process - it allows me to truly understand what matters to you before any design work begins.
Consultations may take place in person (Kansas City Metro), by phone, or via video, depending on what works best for you.
After the consultation, I’ll let you know if your project is a good fit and provide a custom proposal, timeline and pricing. If we move forward the consultation fee is applied toward the final artwork.
To begin, please purchase a Custom Art Consultation through the shop or use the contact form on this site if you have questions before booking.

At Memento, I don’t simply create art inspired by memories; I create art from them. Broken china, worn bike chains, buttons from a loved one’s sewing tin, a dog’s collar - items that might otherwise be discarded are carefully transformed into artwork that preserves their meaning rather than erasing it.
Equally important is the process. Every custom piece begins with a conversation. I take the time to listen, to understand your story, and to design with intention. This isn’t fast art or mass production - it’s thoughtful, collaborative work created to last.
Sustainability is woven into everything I make. By working with reclaimed and repurposed materials, each piece gives new life to what already exists, reducing waste while honoring life’s journey.

I offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, I’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
Custom projects begin with a one-hour consultation, which allows us to talk through your story, expectations, materials, and vision. After the consultation, I provide a custom proposal with clear pricing and a timeline tailored to your project. If we move forward, the consultation fee is applied to the final artwork.
Ready-made pieces, such as jewelry and small works, are priced individually and available through the shop.
This approach ensures that each piece is thoughtfully designed, fairly priced, and created with the care it deserves.

Working with me is a collaborative and thoughtful process. I take time to listen, ask questions, and understand the story behind the items you’re trusting me with. Open communication is important to me, and I’ll guide you through each step so you always know what to expect.
My approach is unhurried and intentional. I don’t rush the process, because meaningful work takes time. You’ll receive clear timelines, updates along the way, and space to share feedback as the piece evolves.
Most clients tell me the experience feels personal, respectful, and surprisingly emotional - in the best way. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and confident that your story is being treated with care from start to finish.
