The Waterfall

Welcome to Beav-O-Rama!

No joke — that was the actual sign at the entrance to the area where my family and I rented a lake house on Beaver Lake, AR. I know, I’m so immature, but the name just makes me laugh.

All kidding aside, the place was amazing. (Shout-out to the VRBO owners.) The house had direct lake access, along with stand-up paddle boards and kayaks. We were out on the water almost every day — fishing, hiking, doing all the things.

One hike led us to massive natural ceilings and caves, with an out-and-back trail that ended at a stunning waterfall. When we returned home, I created this mosaic using some of the rocks we collected along the way.
